    Fildza Nabila Avianti is a Senior Research Associate at Anggraeni & Partners Legal Lab. Prior to working at AP, she worked as a Human Rights consultant for Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI), where she co-wrote a chapter on the Human Rights-Based Approach on Climate-induced Displacement for resource book and modules used in RWI training. Fildza was also the Legal Officer at Justice Without Borders, specifically working on creating transnational access to legal assistance for Indonesian migrant workers seeking rightful compensation. Before that, Fildza worked as a research assistant at the National Human Rights Commission of Indonesia (Komnas HAM) and ELSAM to co-developed the incorporation of UN Guidelines on Business and Human Rights into Komnas HAM Regulation No. 1 Year 2017 on National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. She was also a Visiting Researcher at the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to do comparative research on the Cambodian genocide conducted by the Khmer Rouge in 1975-1979 with the mass killings of the Indonesian Communist Party 1965-1966.

    Her research interests lie in the intersection of business and human rights and the Third World Approach to International Law. She's currently focusing on climate litigation and human rights due diligence.

    She holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where she received the Parker School Recognition of Achievement and a Public Service Honoree.
