The implementation of Government Regulation No. 24 of 2018 on Electronically Integrated Business Licensing Services (“PP 24/2018”) regarding the OSS system shall be managed under Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (“BKPM”). On 21 December 2018, the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs (“Kemenko Perekonomian”) officially hands over the operational of the OSS System to BKPM. According to the the Kemenko Perekonomian letter dated 21 December 2018, as of 2 January 2019 the OSS system will be directly managed and handled by BKPM.
Following the transition, the location of the OSS lounge, which serve as a helpdesk for OSS system will be moved to BKPM office at Jalan Gatot Subroto No. 44 Jakarta Selatan 12190.
There is still no specific guideline and/or regulation that governs the mechanism of the transition. At the time this article is published, it’s still unclear whether BKPM will retain the current OSS System as managed by the Kemenko Perekonomian or an issue new regulation and/or guideline regarding the newly managed system.
