About FHUI and ILMS:

The Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia (FHUI), is home to the International Law Moot Court Society (ILMS), a dedicated student organization focused on promoting international law through moot court competitions. ILMS has been instrumental in developing the legal research, advocacy, and English language skills of FHUI students, preparing them for prestigious international competitions.

About IMLAM:

The International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot (IMLAM) is a premier annual competition established in 2000. It focuses on commercial maritime law and international arbitration, providing law students worldwide with a platform to gain practical experience in resolving maritime disputes. Hosted by various universities, IMLAM features rigorous preparation and intense competition, helping participants build expertise and forge connections in the maritime industry.

FHUI’s IMLAM Journey:

FHUI has a remarkable history of participation in IMLAM:

• 2014: Champion, Best Speaker in Final Rounds.
• 2022: Best Overall Memo and Best Respondent Memo, multiple top speaker awards.
• 2023: Achieved quarter-finalist position among other accolades.
